About the Island Pet Nanny:
Island residents since 1999, Sarah and Stacy found their calling to care for others' animals, based on their lifelong love of pets. Sarah is in her eighth year teaching high school marine biology and middle school science at Hilton Head Preparatory School. Stacy, a former US Army firefighter and EMT, left Kansas for the golf industry of Hilton Head Island. Having spent his first 6 years in island golfing, he turned his attention to team sports and is now full time assistant coach to the Varsity girls' state champion basketball and soccer teams at Hilton Head Prep. His flexibility with coaching freed his schedule to pursue the couple's dream of operating a business caring for pets, which they've been building since 2005.
Sarah and Stacy are parents to a cat, ZaaZuu, Newton (who sometimes doesn't realize he's a dog), a tortoise who hasn't chosen a name yet, a trio of corn snakes (classroom residents), and a daughter, Abigail (13).
They both love animals and have owned and loved both domestics and exotics throughout their lives. Sarah and Stacy are committed to serving their clients by providing excellent care for their pets:
